2019 Nissan Leaf E Plus

The Nissan Leaf is an all-electric vehicle. This vehicle gives you the ability to never stop at a gas pump ever again. This electric vehicle will allow you to ride in style and this vehicle is good for the environment. While many people loved the Nissan Leaf, it is getting some updates. In fact, the new 2019 Nissan Leaf E-Plus will have a longer battery range and more horsepower in its engine. Learn more about this below.

The current Nissan Leaf has a 40-kWh batter gives you 142 horsepower and it allows you a range of around 150 miles. However, the Nissan Leaf E-Plus will give you more horsepower and a larger range.

According to Jalopnik, “The forthcoming long-range trim—dubbed the Leaf E-Plus—should make it a tad more exciting, with a new report saying it’ll have a total output of 200 horsepower, making it a solid competitor with Chevy’s Bolt and the Tesla Model 3.”

The 200 horsepower output will be great for the E-Plus, but you will also get an extended range. The exact numbers for the range of the 2019 Nissan Leaf E-Plus are not out yet, but it is expected to be over a 200-mile range. This makes it very competitive in the electric vehicle segment. The Nissan Leaf has also been a very popular electric vehicle since 2010 when it was introduced.

According to AutoGuide, “No one has sold more EVs than Nissan, which has managed to move over 320,000 Leafs since the nameplate was first introduced in 2010.”

The Nissan Leaf E-Plus will be a 2019 model, so it should hit showrooms at the end of the year. Be on the lookout for this vehicle to see more details of what it will offer you. If you are looking to upgrade to an all-electric vehicle like the Nissan Leaf, you can come down to Woodfield Nissan. New Nissan GT-R Could Be Fastest Sports Car Worldwide

nissan gtr

The Nissan GT-R, otherwise known as Godzilla, is a range-topping, supercar. This vehicle gives you intense power and performance, and it is perfect for those with a need for speed.

A new Nissan GT-R is in the works, and Alfonso Albaisa, Nissan’s Senior Vice President of Global Design says it will be the fastest sports car in the world. Unfortunately, we don’t have too many specifics yet because the designers haven’t really begun to make definite plans yet.

The Drive speculates about this upcoming vehicle, “We expect the next-generation Nissan GT-R to drop sometime in the early 2020s. Considering the current car makes 565 horsepower (or 600 in Nismo guise) and Albaisa’s grand claims, 700 horsepower sounds like a good minimum output for the R36.”

What else do we know about the upcoming GT-R? We know it will be intimidating and impressive. Learn more about Alfonso Albaisa’s thoughts below.

“It’s an animal; it has to be imposing and excessive,” says Albaisa. “Not in terms of its wings, but rather its visual mass, its presence, and its audacity. It doesn’t care what every other supercar in the world is doing; it simply says: ‘I’m a GT-R, I’m a brick, catch me.’ It’s the world’s fastest brick, really. And when I review sketches for the new car, I say that a lot: ‘Less wing, more brick.'”

The 2018 Nissan GT-R is an intensely powerful vehicle in its own right. This car gives you a 3.8-liter turbocharged V6 engine. This engine produces 565 horsepower and 467 pound-feet of torque. This vehicle was also built with impressive exterior design that sculpts the air. It has an aggressive look with large grille openings that allow cooling air, but also gives the vehicle a look of power. You also get Multi-LED headlights that give you a striking visual, and the circular taillights add an impressive touch.

Nissan Set to Spread the Note e-Power Across the Sea

By autointernetmedia | Posted in Electric Nissan Vehicles, Nissan NEWS, Nissan Note e-Power on Monday, July 23rd, 2018 at 7:04 PM
Nissan Note e-Power

Nissan has done some great things with alternative power in its vehicles. For example, the Nissan Leaf is a vehicle that is entirely electric. However, now, Nissan has a unique vehicle called the Nissan Note e-Power. This vehicle is not exactly an electric vehicle, and it is not exactly a hybrid vehicle. Learn more about the Note e-Power below.

According to Forbes, “The Note e-Power is what the industry calls a “series hybrid” which means, for all intents and purposes, this car is an electric car in that it runs on an electric motor which drives the front wheels. But it also has a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder gasoline engine that acts solely as a generator to charge the batteries. The engine does not drive the wheels in any way, and for Japan, that is a new concept.”

The Note e-Power has a 40kW electric motor, but there is no plug-in feature like many hybrid vehicles. The gas engine is used only to generate electricity for the electric engine. This helps it produce more energy with less fuel.

The Note e-Power is currently only available in Japan, but this may be a vehicle that expands to other nations. What does Nissan have planned for the Note e-Power?

Electrive tells us “Nissan wants to extend the reach of their e-Power technology as used in the Note beyond Japan. First markets to benefit from the unusual hybrid are countries in south east Asia such as Thailand and others with weak charging infrastructure.”

Will the Note e-Power come to the United States? Nissan is looking to adapt its e-Power technology for vehicles in the US, so this could be something to look out for if you are interested in hybrid vehicles and electric vehicles.

The Nissan Kicks vs. Kia Soul

By autointernetmedia | Posted in 2018 Nissan Models, Woodfield Nissan on Thursday, July 19th, 2018 at 4:56 PM

If you are looking into a subcompact crossover vehicle, you probably have the Nissan Kicks and the Kia Soul on your list to check out. We are going to help you determine which is better for you by doing a comparison below. We will take a look at the fuel efficiency, the price, and more, on each of these vehicles, so we can help you determine which one is the best for you.

Motor Trend compares the miles per gallon of these two vehicles, “With just 125 hp and a low curb weight, the 2018 Nissan Kicks is one of the most efficient sub-$25,000 cars available today. With an EPA rating of 31/36 mpg city/highway, it easily beats all three engines of the Kia Soul (besides the electric option).”

When you take a look at the safety features of these two vehicles, they both have some good safety to offer. The Nissan Kicks offers you some good safety technology, like automatic emergency braking, on every Nissan Kicks. If you take a look at the safety features on the Kia Soul, you have to upgrade quite a bit to get features like automatic emergency braking, but the Kia Soul does have a five-start NHTSA safety rating.

Motor Trend also discusses a price comparison of both of these vehicles. Motor Trend writes, “This is a close one, but we’ll give the nod to the Nissan. For $18,965, the base Kicks S includes automatic emergency braking, a rearview camera, and a 7.0-inch touchscreen. With the Kia, start by asking yourself whether you’re ready to buy a new car in 2018 without a rearview camera. If not, a base-model Soul with an automatic transmission and a rearview camera comes with the Convenience package that also adds Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and a 7.0-inch touchscreen display. For that content—and, of course, Kia’s 5-year/60,000-mile basic warranty—the MSRP is $19,895.”

Overall, we think the Nissan Kicks wins in this car comparison. You can check out the Nissan Kicks, and more vehicles like it at Woodfield Nissan.

Results Are in for the 2018 Nissan 370Z First Ever Drive

By autointernetmedia | Posted in 2018 Nissan Models on Thursday, June 28th, 2018 at 6:07 PM

Looking to upgrade to a powerful sports car? The 2018 Nissan 370Z is a great option for you. Learn more about the vehicle below as well as what Digital Trends thinks about it after their test drive.

According to Digital Trends, “The word ‘icon’ is thrown around a lot when it comes to cars, but Nissan’s Z-car truly deserves the term. The 2018 Nissan 370Z is their heir to a legacy that dates back to the 1970 Datsun 240Z, which helped save the small, affordable sports car during the dark days of the 1970s.”

So, how does the New 2018 Nissan 370Z stack up against its powerful legacy? Let’s find out! The 2018 Nissan 370Z gives you a 3.7-liter V6 engine with 332-horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. It gives you quick acceleration, minimal body roll and responsive steering. This vehicle also gives you an estimated 18 city miles per gallon and 26 highway miles per gallon. Overall, this is a capable and powerful sports car. Let’s find out how it stacks up against the competition below.

Digital Trends tells us, “The Z arrives on set packing more power than the average small sports car. Its 3.7-liter V6 boasts 332 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. The 2.0-liter boxer four used in the BRZ and 86 can only muster a maximum 205 hp and 156 lb-ft. The Fiat and Mazda offer even less. At a similar price, the Mustang’s 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbo four and the Camaro’s 3.6-liter V6 offer more power and torque (310 hp and 350 lb-ft for the Ford; 335 hp and 284 lb-ft for the Chevy) but both are bigger, heavier cars.”

The 2018 Nissan 370Z clearly has a lot to offer in terms of power and performance. It gives you a quick and exciting driving experience with the performance you are looking for in a sports car. It also beats out or holds its own against many competitors. It is definitely a vehicle to keep on your to-buy list.

New 2018 Nissan Leaf has an Open-Air Concept

By autointernetmedia | Posted in Nissan Leaf on Wednesday, June 27th, 2018 at 5:44 PM

The Nissan Leaf is an all-electric vehicle. It allows you to go green and never stop at the gas pump ever again. There are definitely lots of reasons to be interested in the Nissan Leaf, especially now with its new topless, two-door concept. Learn more about this special edition of the Nissan Leaf below.

In Japan, the Nissan Leaf is experiencing some open-air. There is a new version of the Nissan Leaf that can go topless. This model is based on the second-generation Nissan Leaf, but it has a few different features. It is a two-door vehicle instead of the Leaf’s normal four-doors, and it gives you a topless option.

According to Automobile Magazine, “Introducing a topless Leaf is a good way to draw attention to a recent milestone the car has achieved. Nissan has sold 100,000 copies of the Leaf in Japan since it was first introduced in 2010. The open-air Leaf was unveiled at a small forum in Tokyo attended by government officials and company executives to discuss the creation of a ‘zero-emission society.’”

The United States is not necessarily getting this topless version of the Nissan Leaf, but they have gotten the second generation of the Nissan Leaf. What do people think about this new generation?

Automobile Magazine explains their perspective on the second generation of the Leaf, “The regular second-generation Nissan Leaf feels quicker and more responsive than the original. We also like the car’s ProPilot system, which helps drivers navigate stop-and-go traffic on the highway. Drivers can travel 150 miles on a charge right now, but soon Nissan will offer a longer-range option that could have 225 miles of range.”

Nissan has been doing some great things with new technology like the ProPilot system. They have also been producing some great vehicles like the all-electric Nissan Leaf. This innovative technology is a great thing to be watching out for with Nissan, and it might be a great reason to upgrade to a Nissan vehicle today.

The Nissan Altima’s Latest Edition

By autointernetmedia | Posted in 2019 Nissan Models on Monday, June 25th, 2018 at 6:58 PM

The Nissan Altima is coming up with an updated version for the 2019 model year. What exciting changes are to come in the 2019 Nissan Altima? Let’s find out below.

Under the hood, the base engine of the 2019 Nissan Altima remains the same as the previous year. It will still be a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated I-4 engine. However, the 2019 Altima is getting a new engine option to replace the current 3.5-liter V6 engine. To replace this engine, you can get an all-new 2.0-liter turbo-four engine that gives you 248-horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. Either of these engine options will be mated to a “Xtronic” CVT automatic transmission.

Another exciting addition to the 2019 Nissan Altima is Nissan’s ProPilot Assist. This is new technology from Nissan that makes driving easier on drivers by providing them with a hands-on driver assist system. It is a step toward self-driving.

According to Nissan, “ProPILOT Assist uses a forward-facing camera, forward-facing radar, sensors and electronic control module to help the driver stay in the center of the driving lane and to maintain vehicle speed (set by the driver) or help maintain a gap to the preceding vehicle if the vehicle speed drops below the driver-set speed. It also can slow the vehicle to a complete stop and holds the vehicle during traffic jam conditions.”

The 2019 Nissan Altima will also have some great technology features like a standard 7.0-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Siri Eyes Free, and more. Next, let’s take a look at the styling on the 2019 Nissan Altima.

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, “Regarding styling, the new Altima is longer, lower and wider than the outgoing model while riding a 1.9-inch longer wheelbase. The haberdashery includes the “V”-mouth grille with which Nissan has become enamored, along with black-accented C-pillars already evident on the likes of Murano and Maxima.”
